Say So!
The Say So! Campaign was fashioned by Shy Amos, also known as ShySpeaks. Its mission is to inspire others, who have “regained possession” of their sense of value & self-esteem, thoughts &opinions, individuality & spirituality, love for community & unity, and moreover, their lives, to “Say So”!
It is a charge to forsake fear and boldly speak out on what one believes to be inspirational, redeeming, and all together positive. In many cases, Silence is just as deadly as Violence, while Action still speaks louder than Words. Therefore, the Say So! Campaign endorses the fact that you can “SAY SO” via verbal and non-verbal expressions.
ShySpeaks articulates this idea by saying, “A Fashion Statement can be just as potent as Speech on a Soap Box.”
It’s true, every individual has the power to inspire another, make a change, or spark a revolution by doing something. However, we all know that most of the time, nothing gets done until a person or group of individuals makes a proclamation. So, stand up and speak out. SAY SO!
But don’t just say something, have something to say!
