My TEDx Talk Is Now Live on TED [BIG NEWS]

There's something special about seeing years of experience, reflection, and purpose distilled into one conversation.

I'm excited to share that my TEDx Talk, "Civility in Motion: How Art Moves People to Civic Practice," is now live on the official TED YouTube channel.

This talk explores a question that has shaped much of my work as an artist, speaker, and founder of CivilizedX:

Can art do more than inspire us? Can it move us toward becoming better citizens, neighbors, and participants in our communities?

For years, I've believed that music, poetry, and storytelling are more than entertainment—they're tools for building empathy, creating belonging, and helping people imagine a better future together. In this talk, I share why I believe creativity has an essential role to play in strengthening our civic culture.

Whether you're an educator, artist, student leader, nonprofit professional, or simply someone who believes our communities can be healthier and more connected, I hope this talk encourages you to see art not just as expression, but as practice—something that can shape the way we engage with one another every day.
